Five vessels of Primorye fishing companies are currently operating in the pollock fishery in the West Bering Sea zone and the Kamchatka-Kuril subzone. Since the beginning of the year, 465.2 thousand tons of pollock have been caught, an increase of 14.5 thousand tons from last year. The fishermen have utilized 90% of their quotas. Deputy Prime Minister of Primorye Valery Prokopchuk emphasized the significant contribution of Primorye fishermen to the national project 'International Cooperation and Export'. Large plants for the processing and production of pollock products have been built in the Nadezhdinskaya and Bolshoi Kamen ASEZs.
