PRO Carbono leads regenerative agriculture solutions

The decarbonization of agricultural chains has become central in discussions about climate goals, especially in the face of the challenge of measuring and reducing Scope 3 emissions that, for many companies, begin in the field. This was the focus of the fourth edition of the Carbon Science Talks, held by Bayer, at Amcham Brasil, in São Paulo, which brought together companies, researchers, and farmers to discuss solutions capable of measuring, proving, and accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices on a large scale. With the support of a network with 47 experts and 19 institutions, including Embrapa, the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), and the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), Bayer developed, over five years, scientific methodologies, digital tools, and scalable models to quantify emissions and removals, guide regenerative agriculture practices, and prove their impacts throughout the chain.
