The year was not a "sunflower" year, and this has affected not only agricultural producers but also processors, who are forced to seek raw materials outside the country. "Unfortunately, the last two years - both last year and this year, due to the severe drought, poor yields may repeat. And they are insufficient if they are around 1.5 million tons of sunflower for this year. In our sector of production and processing of oilseed crops, we have the capacity for over 4 million annually. So, there is a shortage of about 2.5 million tons, which is difficult to obtain as raw material. After the ban on imports from Ukraine, changes occurred in the global markets.
