Producer who has been visiting Show Rural for 38 years has tripled soybean productivity

Farmer Ademir Fontana repeated this week a ritual that he has been practicing for 38 years. Accompanied by his wife, he left the chores of the rural property in Corbélia to visit the park that since 1989 has hosted one of the three largest technical events in the global agribusiness sector. “I am proof that the dissemination of technologies and innovations, the backbone that supports the realization of this great event, is indispensable for the rural producer to be able to produce more, better, and connected to the most different novelties, such as sustainability,” says Ademir. When the farmer from Corbélia began attending the Rural Show, a one-day field event with minimal structures, the productivity he achieved with soybeans was 30 bags per hectare.
