The Stavropol Territory in Russia has seen a 10% increase in the turnover of industrial organizations, reaching 68.1 billion rubles, due to the development of the food and processing industry. The growth is across mutton, semi-finished products, poultry meat, milk, cereals, vegetable oils, mineral waters, with increases ranging from 6% to 15%. The region has also seen an 19% increase in the export of processing industry products, now at $195.5 million, and supplies to 56 countries. The Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, stresses the need for continuing prioritization of the food and processing industry, along with expanding the raw material potential of the agro-industrial complex.
