More than 3,000 tons of fish were harvested, which is 0.6 thousand tons more than the results of 2024. Last year, the fish farming industry in the Kurgan region saw a significant upturn. The production of aquatic biological resources increased by 26.1%, or 628.0 tons, to 3,035.4 tons compared to the previous year. The largest share was accounted for by whitefish and carp, with catches reaching 1,186.5 and 668.7 tons, respectively. Such information was published on the website of the Nizhneobsky territorial administration of Rosrybolovstvo. Industrial fishing provided 47.7% of the regional catch, namely 1,428.8 tons. A significant part—25.9%, or 785.7 tons—was obtained through the catch of feed.
