Various knowledge institutions have been working on improving nitrogen measurements and models, which has led to tangible results by 2025. In 2025, the national nitrogen measurement networks were further expanded. The Ammonia Measurement Network has grown to 357 measurement locations. The expansion of measurement locations for dry deposition measurements has progressed less favorably than hoped. The quality of measurements has been further secured through standardization and automation of data processing. There has also been progress in improving the input data for models.
