Prospects for sheep breeding in Ukraine; the market is free and demand is growing

Premium meat, which includes lamb, is increasingly attracting the attention of consumers. This can be explained by several reasons: firstly, the well-being of Ukrainians is growing, and secondly, the quality of meat has become much better: without a specific smell and taste. Sheep breeding in Ukraine today is developing thanks, first of all, to the enthusiasm of our compatriots. We must also pay tribute to government programs, which partially reimburse the costs of acquiring breeding stock and renovating farms. “In the beginning, we wanted to develop sheep breeding within the community, later it grew into the Carpathian region, then came the understanding that we need to work within our state.
