The Beypazarı municipality in Ankara, Turkey, is conducting pruning work in a sample orchard with the goal of enhancing production for the next season. Located on 122 decares of land in the Kuyucak region, the orchard is cultivating a diverse range of fruits and nuts, including apples, pears, grapes, cherries, peaches, apricots, mulberries, almonds, walnuts, blackberries, raspberries, and wild berries, as well as myrtle, jujube, fig, medlar, persimmon, chestnut, pomegranate, wild pear, linden, hazelnut, and quince. The municipality plans to exceed the 50 tons of fruit purchased last year and distribute the produce to needy families. Pruning master Muharrem Yaşam emphasized the importance of timely and appropriate pruning for a successful season.
