PSA Spain: current situation regarding the exports of pork products

Following the detection of African swine fever (ASF) in Catalonia, Spain has begun to receive varied reactions from international markets. According to comments gathered in various informative meetings and interviews, as well as in the informative note published by the Ministry, several third countries have adopted restrictive measures, while others have initiated review processes that may allow their reopening. China, the main destination of Spanish exports, has closed only the province of Barcelona.
