With the firm purpose of sowing life, hope, and a greener future for the new generations, the Binational Special Project Lake Titicaca (PEBLT), through the Unit of Agroeconomic Development and Ecosystem Recovery, delivered 1000 forestry seedlings to the mayor of the populated center of Calacoto, in the district of Copani, province of Yunguyo, Puno region. In representation of the executive director of the PEBLT, Pantaleón Huachani Mayta, the technical team of the San Juan de Potojani forestry nursery, located in the district of Chucuito, carried out the delivery of the cetaceous seedlings, species that will play a fundamental role in the recovery of soils, the protection of water sources, and the strengthening of the local ecosystem.
