In the first quarter of 2022, the region reported a significant activity in the agricultural sector, with a total of 38,595,100 livestock and poultry quarantined and 16,463,200 feathers slaughtered and quarantined. The quarantined animals included various species such as pigs, cattle, sheep, and poultry, with all sick animals treated in accordance with regulations. Additionally, 182,056,800 kilograms of quarantined livestock and poultry products were processed and treated as necessary, encompassing a wide range of meats from pigs, cattle, sheep, and other animals.
