Quotas for importing meat at zero tariff are expanded by the Eurasian Union

The Eurasian Economic Union (UEA), a bloc composed of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, approved the expansion of quotas for imports, at zero tariff, of beef and pork destined for processing. Brazil may be one of the beneficiaries of the measure. The Russian quota for beef, 200 thousand tons, will be valid for the entire year of 2022. For pork, the Russian quota will be 100 thousand tons, valid between January 1st and June 30th of next year.
