In Ereğli district of Zonguldak, Turkey, fish prices and variety are expected to be more affordable during Ramadan, according to local fisherman Adem Çetin. He explained that while the types of fish available are increasing, prices are currently medium but are expected to decrease in Ramadan before the season ends around April 15. However, he noted that the situation is challenging due to high costs and the possibility of having to close shops due to scarce fish supplies.
