In 2022, the leading 50 Peruvian fruit exporters experienced a 14% increase in shipment volumes, reaching 1,336 million kilos, while the total industry growth was 11% to 2,236 million kilos. These large companies exported goods worth US$ 3,250 million, a 7% increase from the previous year, but grew less dynamically than the rest of the industry. Notable growth was seen among companies like Camposol, Beta Industrial Complex, and Sociedad Agrícola Rapel, with Camposol maintaining the top spot as the largest exporter. Ecosac Agrícola and Family Farms Peru also stood out for their significant growth. However, 22% of the top 50 companies saw a decrease in shipment values, with Agrícola Santa Azul and Frutas de Piura experiencing the most significant declines. Blueberries were the highest export value fruit, growing 12% to US$1,405 million, followed by grapes. Avocado continued to be the dominant volume export, with shipments almost reaching 620 million.
