The Udmurt Republic in Russia is planning to export its rapeseed oil to Uzbekistan, with the first shipments expected to be made this autumn. The Sarapul vegetable oil plant, which will soon be able to produce products that meet Islamic standards, will handle the supply. The Uzbek market is one of the main trading partners of the Udmurt Republic, with exports growing five times since 2017 to $25.1 million last year.
