Rapeseed plant protection with hybrid selection!

Rapeseed plant protection has always been a catchy professional issue for even the most qualified professionals! Many farmers, even today, think hard about putting rapeseed in the crop rotation, and we can safely say that anyone who grows this crop with good results also testifies to his competence and the care of a good farmer. In our paper, we selected two of the myriad plant protection issues from RAGT’s rapeseed offerings. Highlighting the two hybrids is also considered important because both represent new genetics and in both cases boast far-above-average results from their experimental years. The development of imidazolinone-resistant (CL) rapeseed hybrids is based on a directed mutation-based breeding procedure. The herbicide Cleratop (BASF) used to control CL hybrids provides a pree-post effect on the sprayed area. This provides great security for keeping the rapeseed herd free of autumn weeds.
