Record of Andalusian agri-food exports in the first half of the year, with 6,536 million and a growth of 1.1%

Andalusia's agri-food exports reached 6,536 million euros in the first half of 2020, which is its best historical record for the first six months of a year since comparable data exist (1995), thanks to a year-on-year growth of the 1.1%. According to data from Extenda-Agencia Andaluza de Promociýn Exterior, an entity dependent on the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, with this record the community reaffirms itself as a leader in exports of food and beverages in Spain, concentrating practically one of every four euros (24.3%) of national sales (26,929 million) between January and June, more than four points ahead of Catalonia (20.1%) and more than ten of the Valencian Community (13.5%) .
