In November 2020, the export price of cashew nuts in India experienced fluctuations, with some grades decreasing and others increasing compared to the previous month. Despite a decrease in Brazil's cashew exports to the United States, exports to other markets saw a significant increase, resulting in a total export of 50 thousand tons in November, valued at $ 310 million. This represents a 22.1% increase in volume and a 6.6% increase in value compared to November 2019. Canadian imports of cashew nuts from Vietnam in the first nine months of 2020 reached 7.35 thousand tons, valued at 53 million USD, with Vietnam's market share of cashew nuts in total Canadian imports increasing to 76.5% in 2020. Additionally, the report highlights a sharp increase in black pepper prices in India and a significant rise in the share of Vietnamese pepper in total German imports in November 2020.
