[Korea Farmers' and Fishermen's Newspaper, Reporter Kim Young-min] 'Artificial fertilizer chemically processed. Types include nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potassium fertilizer, and compound fertilizers.' The National Institute of Korean Language's Standard Korean Dictionary defines chemical fertilizers in this way. A similar term is artificial fertilizer. So how do domestic agricultural laws define chemical fertilizers? The current Fertilizer Management Act does not include the term "chemical fertilizer." The term "chemical fertilizer" was used in the Fertilizer Management Act implemented in 1981. The law at that time stated that "'Tri-element chemical fertilizers' refer to inorganic fertilizers containing one or more components of nitrogen, phosphorus, or potassium, produced through chemical processes."
