A Nigerian delegation visits the Butukh Protected Plantations Station of tomato and cucumber in Qalyubia, Egypt

In continuation of the extension and training activities of the Agricultural Research Center, a field visit was carried out to the site of protected cultivations of tomato and cucumber crops for the delegation of Nigerian universities and research centers, which is currently visiting the Agricultural Research Center, in the context of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide technical support to the African brothers. An explanation was also given to the Nigerian delegation about the extension role of the Agricultural Research Center, as well as the identification of hybrid varieties of tomato and cucumber crops produced by the National Program for the Production of Vegetable Seeds, and the methods of cultivation and productivity of these varieties.
