In February, the average price of chilled pork in Ukraine fell by 1.4% or 2.5 UAH/kg, making it cheaper than the previous month, according to the "Swine Farmers" Association of Ukraine. The most significant price drops were seen in the femoral part, brisket, and tenderloin. This price decrease was due to similar trends in the cutting market and a decrease in the weighted average purchase price of pigs. However, the retail trade quickly adopted the positive price dynamics at the beginning of March, despite concerns about consumer price activity during the seasonal downturn.
