In January-September 2025, Ukraine imported 77,806 tons of rice worth 49,331 thousand US dollars, according to the State Statistics Service.

For comparison, during the same period in 2024, 64,985 tons of rice were imported worth 49,345 thousand US dollars.
Thus, in 2025, there is a significant increase in the volume of rice imports (+12,821 tons), while the cost of imports has slightly decreased (-14 thousand dollars), which may indicate a change in pricing policy or the structure of suppliers.
