Rice prices in the Mekong Delta region experienced slight increases on July 27, with minor adjustments across various types of rice. High demand for Dai Thom 8 Winter-Spring rice is met with limited supply, while rice quality and prices in Dong Thap and Soc Trang remain stable. The sticky rice market saw slight price decreases for certain types, and by-product prices were mostly unchanged except for an increase in dry bran. Retail and export rice prices remained steady. Vietnam's rice export activities are projected to grow, driven by strong supply and rising demand towards the year's end. In the first half of the year, Vietnam exported over 4.5 million tons of rice, generating nearly 3 billion USD in revenue.
