As of November 3, 2021, in An Giang, Vietnam, rice prices remain stable with varying rates for different types. The region has successfully sown 672,000 hectares of autumn-winter rice, equal to the previous year, with 40.6% already harvested. Despite a decrease in the overall rice exports of Vietnam by 8.3% in volume and 1.3% in value in the first nine months of the year, there has been a significant increase in the exports of ST24 and ST25 rice. These specialty rices saw a remarkable growth of 9-10 times, with ST25 rice finding a strong market in the US, Germany, Russia, and other countries, and ST24 rice being popular in China. However, the export price of ST24 rice to China has decreased by 12.9% compared to the previous year.
