A project has been funded to the tune of R$311,000, which will be used to purchase 136 tons of various vegetables from 39 family farmers. The vegetables to be purchased include tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, and more, and will be donated to entities serving people with food and nutritional risks. This initiative will ensure a consistent purchase of their production for the farmers for at least a year, providing them with a steady income and social inclusion. The purchase will be made using the Purchase with Simultaneous Donation (CDS) modality, where Conab will purchase the food, and the farmers will deliver the products directly to the beneficiary entities.
