Wheat contracts on global markets

Loadings of older contracts are carried out, while for new closings there is hesitancy mainly on the part of the sellers. The local mills are buying selectively, around 350 euros per ton deliverable, but no longer having to worry about meeting needs. In durum wheat, for the 6th week the prices on the Foggia list remained unchanged. For quality wheat with a specific weight of 78 kg/hl, vitreous 70% and protein 12%, the merchant warehouse price is negotiated at 380-385 euros per ton. Also for the second quality with a specific weight of 76 kg/hl, vitreous 50% and protein 11%, the merchant warehouse price ranges from 365-370 euros per ton. At the same time, in international trade, according to the first information, Algeria bought between 400-500,000 tons of durum wheat through a tender at prices of 435 to 470 dollars per ton (402-435 euros per ton) delivered to their port.
