At the close of the first month of the 2025/26 wheat campaign and hand in hand with a production that breaks all historical records, the ports of the Greater Rosario area are currently displaying a scene marked by the incessant procession of trucks. As will be recalled, the last estimate from the Rosario Grain Exchange (BCR) for the cereal reached a surprising number: 27.7 million tons, already in line with the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (which also projected a similar number, with 27.1 million tons) and the Ministry of Agriculture, with 26.8 million tons. The current level of quotations In terms of prices, the BCR highlighted that Argentina currently has the most competitive FOB wheat price in the world. This boosts shipments of the cereal which not only find a market in the traditional Brazilian market, but are also dispatched to much more distant countries such as Southeast Asia.
