The Russian agricultural watchdog, Rosselkhoznadzor, has intercepted a shipment of sanctioned Polish plant products, including 41.8 tons of pears hidden among carrots, originating from Belarus. The discovery was made during phytosanitary control of four vehicles. The products were labeled as Polish, despite Belarusian phytosanitary certificates and labels. The rogue shipment will be destroyed, and an appeal will be made to the main state inspectorate for seed production, quarantine, and plant protection of Belarus, highlighting the violation of EAEU and Russian legislation.
