Rosselkhoznadzor: Russia's export of forage grasses in 2020 increased six times

In 2020, the volume of supplies to foreign markets of herbs and products of plant origin used for feed purposes increased significantly, the Rosselkhoznadzor reports. Hay, alfalfa, clover, sainfoin, fodder cabbage, lupine, vetch and other similar feed products, granulated or non-granulated (TN VED CODE 1214909000) were supplied from Russia to 24 countries in 2020. The export volume, according to the FCS, amounted to 65.7 thousand tons, which is 6 times more than in 2019 (10.8 thousand tons) and 9 times more than in 2018 (7 thousand tons).
