Exports of instant coffee from the Russian Federation in 2020 may grow by more than 60%

Exports of instant coffee from the Russian Federation in 2020 may grow by more than 60%, up to 35 thousand tons. This forecast is provided by the Russian Export Center (REC) based on customs data. At the end of ten months, the volume of coffee exports reached 26.5 thousand tons worth $ 130 million.For the whole of 2019, supplies were at the level of 21.2 thousand tons. In autumn, exports reached the level of 4 thousand tons per month, they say in the REC. The volume of coffee supplies from Russia to foreign markets may reach 35 thousand tons this year, confirms the executive director of Rusprodsoyuz Dmitry Vostrikov. As a result, Russia moved up from eighth to sixth place in terms of coffee exports after Vietnam, Brazil, Germany, Spain and India.
