Roughage support to animal producers in Salihli, Turkey

Manisa's Salihli district municipality provided support by distributing the straw obtained from the wheat harvest, which it planted on a total of 135 decares of land where the water was drained, to the farmers engaged in small-scale sheep and cattle breeding, free of charge, in order to contribute to their family budgets. Salihli Mayor Zeki Kayda stated that they always support families in need who are struggling to make a living under difficult conditions as a requirement of Social Municipalism, and said that they distribute free feed to producers engaged in small-scale animal breeding in rural neighborhoods.
