The survey analyzed 2.8 million individuals from the rural population who contracted financing and authorized the use of data from the Positive Registry. “The retreat of about 16% in the concession in the first half of 2025 has as one of the factors the movement of greater caution in the market,” said the head of agribusiness at Serasa Experian, Marcelo Pimenta. “At the same time, the sector is dealing with challenges, such as the gradual increase in delinquency, climatic events, and stricter socio-environmental compliance criteria.
