The Rural Development Administration is conducting the 'Coffee Annual Evaluation' and 'Coffee Forum' in El Salvador from the 28th to the 30th, in order to enhance coffee productivity in Central and South American countries and to collaborate on agricultural technology to meet climate change challenges. This event will see participation from experts in the Central and South American coffee industry, including researchers from the International Center for Tropical Agriculture Research and Education (CATIE) and the El Salvador Coffee Institute (ISC). The forum will focus on discussions around pre-harvest technologies, new coffee varieties, coffee genetic diversity, and processing processes of Arabica coffee beans using chemical markers.
