A new protocol on phytosanitary requirements for millet exported from Russia to China has been signed, following a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang. The protocol will apply to grain and medicinal plant raw materials for Chinese medicine exported from Russia. This opens up the Chinese market to Russian millet, with about 20,000 business entities already registered to work on the Chinese market through the Rosselkhoznadzor. Negotiations are ongoing for the delivery of winter grain from Russia to China.
