From January to September 2021, Russia's agricultural exports to Brazil increased twice as much as in 2020, amounting to USD 74.1 million with a 40% rise in quantity. The increase was primarily driven by the flour and cereals industry, with significant increases in unroasted malt and wheat gluten supplies. Russia's flour and cereal products ranked it among the top three suppliers, behind Argentina and Uruguay. Wheat exports from Russia to Brazil have continued for the second month in a row, contributing to Russia's rise in the agricultural export rankings from 30th place in 2020 to 19th place in 2021.
