Russia's pork exports experienced a decline of 25% in the first half of the year, equivalent to 50 thousand tons, according to the National Union of Pig Breeders. This decrease was attributed to increased logistics costs, payment issues, and a drop in pork prices in South-East Asia. Despite these challenges, there has been a recovery, and the Union anticipates that Russia will export approximately 170 thousand tons of pork products by year-end, slightly below the previous year's figures.
