Russia Leads in Global Turkey Production Growth Rates

From 2015 to 2024, turkey meat production in Russia nearly tripled, while in most countries worldwide it is stagnating or declining, with production in leading countries dropping by 4.6%. This was reported by Albert Davleyev, president of Agrifood Strategies, at the "Agricultural Policy of Russia" summit, presenting the results of an annual analysis of turkey production in the top 10 countries, commissioned by the National Turkey Producers Association (NAPI). According to the company, in 2024 Russia produced 438,000 tons of turkey, which is 3.8% more than in 2023 and 186% more than in 2015.
