Russia sharply increased exports of oil and fat products to the BRICS countries

Over the seven months of this year, supplies of Russian oil and fat products to the BRICS countries increased by more than 2.5 times or to over 3.4 million tons of oilseeds and their processed products. The relevant data was provided by the OleoScope information and analytical agency. In monetary terms, exports during this period increased from 1.45 to 2.8 billion dollars. Agency analyst Kirill Lozovoy explained the growth, first of all, by a noticeable increase in sales of all types of vegetable oils and some crop seeds. In particular, our country has increased its shipments of sunflower oil in this direction the most – 8.2 times to 565,300 tons.
