Recent climatic conditions in Eastern Europe, including dry and warmer weather, have led to the accelerated maturation and filling of summer crops in the region. While some areas experienced rainfall, most of the main summer cultivation areas remained without rainfall. Despite waves of extreme heat in some areas, crops like corn and sunflower were able to withstand the high temperatures due to the rainy July. Satellite data shows good crop vigor in western Russia and sectors of Ukraine compared to the previous year.
