According to the Russian Agricultural Export Development Center, in the first eight months of this year, Russia exported nearly 90 tons of coffee extract, instant coffee, and coffee concentrate to China, with an export value of 925,000 U.S. dollars. The export volume increased by 7.5 times year-on-year, and the export value increased by 5 times year-on-year.
The Russian Agricultural Export Development Center pointed out that Russia is one of the top ten countries exporting coffee to China, with the top three being Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Netherlands.
On March 18, the Russian Agricultural Export Center told the satellite news agency that according to preliminary statistics, in 2024, Russia's agricultural exports to China will exceed 8.3 million tons, with a total export value of approximately 7.4 billion U.S. dollars. Among the agricultural products exported from Russia to China, the largest export is canola oil (13%), followed by barley (10%), and then sunflower oil and peas (each 8%), and soybeans (7%). China has become the main importer of Russian agricultural products in 2024, maintaining this position for two consecutive years.
