The total production volume of pollock products increased by 7.4%, to 1 million 88 thousand tons. Last year, 275 vessels worked in the pollock fishery, including 13 foreign ones. Traditionally, the largest volume of catch was provided by the large-tonnage fleet: 77 large processor trawlers caught over 71% of the total volume. “A significant trend of the year was the increase in the efficiency of the fishing fleet: many vessels showed high annual catches.
