The Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality is expanding its oyster mushroom production capacity to 50 tons per year with a new facility. The 2,200-square-meter facility, located by the Sakarya River, will house the administration office, material-packaging rooms, and cold storage. It will feature five fully automated production rooms and a closed production area, with the aim to produce around 40 tons of oyster mushrooms from 200 tons of compost over four productions per year.
