Agribusiness exports from São Paulo increased by 11.2%, reaching US$25.77 billion from January to October 2024. The state led in Brazilian states in exports for the second month in a row, with products such as sugar, meat, orange juice, cellulose, and coffee. The sugar and alcohol complex accounted for 40.7% of São Paulo's agricultural exports, and meat exports made up 11.2% of the total exports. The agricultural sector accounted for 43.6% of São Paulo's exports, helping to reduce the state’s overall foreign trade deficit. Brazilian agribusiness exports grew by 0.3%, reaching US$140.02 billion, or 49.3% of Brazil’s total exports.
