Spain: Scientists and saffron producers will study the causes of the decline in flowering

Researchers, scientists and meteorologists, together with saffron producers and the Denomination of Origin Saffron of La Mancha are going to study the causes of the drop in flowering that has been recorded in this crop in two consecutive years, which is causing a decrease in the harvest and that the sector is going through a difficult time.
