Scientists have developed completely new varieties of peppers and tomatoes in Belarus

Since the beginning of the year, researchers of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy have developed 7 new varieties of sweet peppers and tomatoes. This was announced by the head of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Ecology and Radiology, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Mikhail Dobrodkin, writes agronews.ua. This year, sweet peppers "Generous", "Sakaviti" and "Sunny", as well as tomatoes "Horizon" and "Red Grand", bred by our staff, have passed a full cycle of tests and are included in the state register for growing in production conditions, - said Mikhail Dobrodkin. "In recent years, more than 30 high-yielding, ecologically stable hybrids and varieties of tomatoes for open and closed soil, as well as sweet peppers have been zoned within the walls of the school."
