The Dutch Potato Organization (NAO) has reported a notable increase in the export of seed potatoes, with a total of 536,957 tons shipped up to February, an increase of 45,493 tons from the same period last year. Despite this overall growth, there has been a slight decrease in exports within the EU, particularly to Germany and Italy, while exports to Belgium, France, and Greece have slightly increased. There has also been a significant rise in exports to other European countries, with Asia showing the most substantial growth, led by demand in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and Africa's demand also increasing, with Egypt as the largest buyer.
