The planted area of table grapes in the São Francisco Valley has been increasing annually, largely due to seedless varieties. White grapes are primarily used for export, while seedless black grapes are partly used domestically. However, there are concerns that grape prices may drop in the coming weeks due to an increasing supply of black grapes as harvest intensifies. The average price for seedless black grapes in bulk this week was R$ 5.17/kg, which is 7.6% higher than the previous week.
