Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Mayor Choi Min-ho) is launching a new project to support young farmers' startup and settlement by providing 70% of smart farm installation costs. The city announced on the 26th that through the '2024 Young Farmers Smart Farm Startup Support Project', it will subsidize installation expenses up to 180 million won. This project, implemented for the first time this year, aims to help young people settle in Sejong City amid challenges such as high land prices. Support is available for young farmers and prospective farmers under 45 years old who have an address in Sejong City or wish to settle there. For those not yet residing in Sejong City, smart farm installation will be supported.
