Taiwan is keen on maintaining its commercial alliance with Paraguay, with a particular focus on the meat sector. Taiwanese ambassador to Paraguay, José Chih-Cheng Han, held discussions with the president of the official veterinary service about authorizing the poultry sector and other products. The talks also included the possibility of exporting more bovine offal cuts, non-edible by-products like bovine meat and bone meal, and the potential for new refrigeration plants. The progress of a training project on the diagnosis and prevention of African Swine Fever in Paraguay was also discussed.
